can anyone please help me...thanks
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)
It is telling you that there is an older, incompatible version previously installed. Uninstall it or the leftover components.
Pete
but how i uninstall it??? i cannot find anything on applications.....please help
If you deleted the Adobe CS6 folder (or the folder of the individual app(s) you installed) you’ll have to go to Adobe’s help site and look for the uninstall instructions.
i did that...but still showing same thing....

Adobe installs files in a variety of places. It's unclear if you once had some version of Photoshop CS6 installed. If you did, there was an "Uninstall Adobe Photoshop CS6" application in the Photoshop folder. It also exists in the Applications>Utilities>Adobe Installers folder. If you have that uninstaller, try running it. There are also PS CS6 files in /Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory/1.0 and your /Users/ Application support library. Try searching on Photoshop CS6 and see where such files turn up.
