curl socket timed out

Hi,

I'm working on my iMac this morning, I've only had it for a few months. About 10 minutes ago I saw an error message that I've never seen before on my Mac or indeed any Mac.

It was a dialog box that popped up saying "Curl socket timed out." The icon in the dialog box was a white exclamation mark on a red background.

I'm not even sure what app triggered this dialog box but the only apps I had open were Chrome, Mail and Ableton Live 9. It didn't cause any obvious interference or coincide with any obvious crash or freeze or anything. Everything seemed to carry on as normal.

Does anyone know what it means and should I be concerned? If anyone can answer this I'd be really grateful!

These are my specs if you want to know them:

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013)

3.1 GHz Intel Core i7

16 GB

1TB Fusion Drive

OS X Yosemite 10.10.2

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)
