Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard MC184S/B.

I recently purchased an Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard MC184S/B to use with my Desktop which is not an Apple Product. I would like to know how I pair the Keyboard with a non-Apple Desktop as it is not detecting the Keyboard. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse already, but bought the Apple Keyboard as it is considerably smaller
