Problem with the « glint » filter

Hello !

It seems to me that the « Glint » filter (in the « Glow » section) appeared with the last update. It produces nice effects with a lot of options to play with.

My main concern is that the result is only visible as long as the render quality is set to « normal », with « best » nothing is rendered !

I wonder if I miss something, or if it’s a bug, or if it is due to the modest graphic capabilities of my mid-2010 Mac mini ?

If you are talking about playback, Best quality will put more strain on your GPU/CPU, and you may have degraded quality, just so Motion can play back.

If you're talking about an export, then something isn't correct. Use the free app "Preference Manager" from Digital Rebellion to trash your Motion pref files.

I'm testing it on a nMP and it works just fine.

Do you mean playback, rendering a RAM Preview, or exporting an ProRes 422 file?
