Apple keyboard not responding

Hi

Just updated my Macbook Pro running 10.10.3 and it will not find my USB apple keyboard, tried searching for in in the system preferences with the "change keyborad type..." option.

Also done the usual, un plug, restart, dirfferent port etc.

Any ideas?

Do you have access to another computer where you can try the keyboard? Does the built in keyboard work?

Thanks for the reply.

All solved now. Not sure how. Came into work this morning, and its ok. The only thing I have done differently was close the lap top last night when I put it in my bag.
