safari 10.6.8 will not close I have shut down mac pro 4,1
10.6.8 on mac pro 4,1 unable to quit safari. I have to shut manually shut down the machine to quit safari.

You may try to force quit safari. Press command + option+ escape. Select safari from the list and press quit. Relaunch Safari while holding down the shift key. Check if you will be able to quit Safari
