getting photos sent as attachments and not imbedded

Hey for those looking for the answer on how to get your photos sent as an attachment in your email..

go to photos select the ones to send.. go to sharing and select mail.. then when you have the photo embedded.. left click on the photo which will highlight it then use 2 finger to right click and you'll have an option to send as an icon.. i got this information and was successful doing it.. from an apple support person

However, that only controls how the photo is displayed on your Mac in your email window. The recipient's settings in their email client will determine how the photos is viewed, as an image or icon.


The only sure way to get an image as an attachment and not fully displayed in the body of the email is to zip it and add the zipped file as the attachment. Of course the recipient will have to unzip the file before being able to use or view it.
