Macbook Pro 3 beeps... not RAM

Hello,

I am trying to diagnose what is wrong with my SO's Macbook Pro (Late 2012). She spilled water on it and now when you attempt to power it on the screen remains blank and you hear 3 beeps every 5 seconds. Googling the issue tells you it is the RAM accept I am fairly certain it isn't. Here is what I have tried:

- Removing both RAM sticks and trying them in different slots

- Putting 3rd party RAM in and attempting to boot (Had some lying around)

- Putting RAM in from another Macbook Pro

All of these did nothing. Still the same three beeps. additionally, I even took the "bad" RAM out and put it in the working Macbook and it worked fine. Does anybody with more experience with MACs have any advice to give me? the fans spin when you power the machine on. I am unsure of what it could have been besides RAM that shorted.
