Apple Earpod vs other connections
Hi,
Let me give background first before my question.
In my car I have an aux input for my car's speakers.
Years ago I bought an male-to-male cable so I can plug in my phone to my car's speakers.
This works great, been doing so since my iPhone 5.
The best part was that the iPhone 5 recognized this cable vs the Apple Earpod and had different volume levels. My car's cable was at max volume and the Earpods were low volume. This way my car wasn't too quite and my ears didn't bleed when I put in the Earpods.
So now I got an iPhone 6.
It still works with my car's cable BUT now it doesn't switch the volume.
I plug in my car's cable and the volume is too low on my phone, I turn it up.
I plug in my Earpods and the volume is TOO HIGH and kill my ears, I turn it down.
This is a new cycle that doesn't end. I don't always remember to check the volume level before playing music.
Is this a common thing or am I the odd man out of this?
iPhone 6, iOS 8.3
