DOes iPhone 6 iOS 8.3 support

iCalendar / Outlook Meeting Invitations / .ics files

my work uses this for our meetings but I can never open them!!!

Are you sure they are ics files Outlook is exporting, ics files are the iPhones standard format for events. They certainly work on mine.

The icon I get says "Meeting.ics" and when I click on it nothing happens

Yes I can see it on my Macbook it gives me the date and time and I can accept or decline, but on my iPhone just the icon.
