How do I allow Heart Rate data on dashboard?

When I'm on the Health app on my iPhone I am looking at the Dashboard for my Heart Rate information. It is not there. When I click on the Sources tab and select my Apple Watch, I get the message, "Go to the Apple Watch app to change health data settings for this Apple Watch." When I go to the Watch app on my iPhone and go to the Health section, it only asks for my height/weight/etc. How do I link the two?

In the Health app on my iPhone. The Dashboard only has Steps, Walking + Running Distance, and Flights Climbed. I can fine no section on 'Share Data" in the Health app. In the My Watch app on my iPhonw when I select the 'Privacy Settings' it states the settings are shared between Apple Watch and iPhone. if you change them on your iPhone, the same changes will be applied to your Watch. When I go to Settings on my IPhone, I select the Health option but nothing shows up there.

I had no heart rate area in the dashboard so I wasn't able to hit Share Data. I I tried share data under one of the other headings, it wouldn't lead to anything that would help.

However, I found the answer!

Under Health Data at the bottom, click Heart Rate, then Show in Dashboard.

This did not work for me before, because nothing was showing under Health Data, but after rebooting my phone I was able to see the options under this category.
