How can you fix an iPad even though it's rebooting again and again

SO I have the iPad 2 for a about 3 years, the iPad is now shattered, it was still working after it shattered, now 1 month later, I left the iPad without charge and it keeps on rebooting and rebooting again and again. It only shows up the apple logo and goes in a black out like if its going to the lock screen , but it's not. It only goes to the apple logo and black out. And if you try to reboot (pressing home and lock button) it doesn't work. Also if you leave it alone it keeps on doing the same procedure as if you were to rebooting it.
