Is The New Version Of iPhoto Lossless?

Does iPhoto reduce the quality of photos?. Is other words is Photo Lossless? If not I'll stick with Aperture.

Mac OS X (10.0.x)

there is no new version of iPhoto - the latest version (and probably the last version) is 9.6.1 and has been released for months

There is a totally new application named Photos - version 1.0 is the current one - it is lossless - however unless you are an extremely basic Aperture user it will not meet you needs - experiment a while before you commit to the change
