Hi,

I am going to the United States for 4 months at the end of May and I want to be able to use my phone whilst I am there. I had been given an ekit 4G SIM however their prices are very high - $59 for 1GB of 4G data! I therefore want to get a US SIM card to use instead but I know that not all US networks will work with my phone.

I have a UK iPhone 6 (Model A1586) currently locked to Vodafone however by the time I leave it will be unlocked. Which US networks will work with my phone?

Look at this list and find your phone:

http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/

Even though it is focussed on LTE, it applies to other service as well. Looks like you have a Sprint / nTelos / US Cellular (et al) type phone.

FWIW and adding to what Dan has said I do the reverse and use the US iPhone 6 (1549) in the UK on 3 PAYG and LTE/4G works.

Thanks for the help Felipe and Dan. I had a look at the link and it says that my phone will work in the US. To be sure I had a chat with someone from AT&T since I was looking at plans and they said it should be fine. Now just to find a decent monthly plan...
