AppStore installs raw file support over and over

App store indicated that raw compatibility update 6.04 was available. I downloaded and installed as usual. Problem is after it indicates it is installed, it immediately pops up again as being available for download --- ad nauseum. I deleted the cache.db file located at this path:

library/containers/com.apple.appstore/Data/Library/Caches/com.appleappstore. - After a restart and re download --- THIS fixed the problem.

I offer this fix to others that may be having the same problem.
