Need help transferring existing data from my iMac24 to my new 15" power book

MacBook Pro with Retina display, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Connect the Time Machine backup EHD from the iMac to the new Mac and launch Migration Assistant (Applications - Utilities - Migration Assistant) and then follow the on-screen instructions.

By the way, you likely do NOT own a Powerbook, these were discontinued years ago!

You are correct - The product is new "MacBook Pro" but the owner is old !
