Open new window with Right Click in Safari

I had to erase and reinstall on my Mac and now in Safari I do not have the ability to open an article or file by right clicking on the mouse with the option of "Open in New Window" come up. It's extremely important to me that I can open various windows with out having to lose the original window I was on. I could do this before I reinstalled, but not now. I installed Yosemite 10.10.3

Any help and suggestions will be appreciated.

I just get the page I clicked on which replaces my original page. I would like to be able to open the new link without losing the original page, just like I used to be able.

Semper Fi!

Go into System Preferences for the trackpad (or Mouse, as is appropriate). Do you have "Secondary Click" turned on? If not, there is not 'right click' with the trackpad or mouse. In order to 'right click', you have to depress the Control Key while you click.

You did it Tim! I was working on my System Prefs when you replied. I checked and you were right. I checked the box and then checked in Safari and It worked fine.
