In theory, it could sort of work. Like all the major U.S. carriers, Sprint uses 4G LTE. It's no longer simply GSM vs CDMA. If you have an already activated Sprint SIM, you may be able to get the phone to work on Sprint's 4G LTE network. You may find that you have trouble with certain features such as Visual Voicemail and MMS. If you move off of Sprint's 4G LTE network, the phone won't work. Note that I prefaced this with "in theory". Some people have reported getting it to work and some people have reported problems. It is far from ideal.
