My iphone says Iphone disabled connect to itunes and I need to reset my phone what do I do?

I've been trying to reset my iPhone cause I can't remember the password on it so I updated it and now on the screen it just says iPhone disabled connect to iTunes, when I plug it up nothing happens and iTunes will pop up and tell me they can't read my phone because It has a password on it which I can't even get too because my phone won't turn on. I just need to reset it, how I would I do this? help, please!
