I can't seem to merge the contacts addresses into Avery to make labels. Do you have any recommendations for a program that would allow me to use my contacts to make address labels? Thanks!
I can print from contacts, but I want to add a picture to each label. I have to add pictures of my grandchildren or pets to everything possible. So I tried to use Avery templates which allowed me to add pictures to the labels, but I couldn't migrate the addresses from contacts into Avery. So my question now is, is there a program or software that you know of that would allow me to make labels with a picture added and use my contacts or allows me to make an address database just once? Thanks for your willingness to share your knowledge!
I have no idea how to do that.

I use FileMaker Pro to do that.

Great minds think alike. So do I.
As in the $329 FileMaker Pro? This Grandma can't spend that to make labels, but thanks for the suggestion.
I agree it's not a rational alternative. Go to the App Store and search for "print labels". There are a number of apps that look like what you want. One, Return Labels, is only $4.99 and appears to be able to include images. It will import Contact pictures along with their names and addresses.
That sounds perfect. Thanks so much!
Yes you certainly can use an image to add to labels from contacts.
Select the group in contacts you want to print (i.e. Christmas cards) > File - Print > Chose Mailing labels and layout > Click Label - image - set (find the image you wish to use) - you can adjust layout / typeface to your heart's content.
I have been doing it for years at Christmas time / Birth announcement etc.
Good luck to any future searchers on this subject.
