Q: How to change SIM card to new iphonej

I'm sorry, but I'm not. If you import contacts to the iPhone, they are written in the iPhone memory, not to the SIM. The iPhone does not have the ability to write to the SIM. End of story.

No it doesn't.  Again the iPhone can read contacts stored on a sim card, but it cannot write to one. Its not a feature of the software.

Whatever is on the sim card was not put there by the iPhone.

You've said nothing nor offered any kind of proof a out what you say. For all we know you are misunderstanding what you are seeing on your iPhone. which we have no idea what it is since you have not told us.
