My iPod touch 5th generation isn't working.

A few nights ago I was laying on my bed, watching youtube videos. I was falling asleep and had my ipod in my hand, I dropped it. My iPod fell and hit the ground, it fell on it's front screen. Luckily the screen didn't crack but now the home button is stuck. I got the touchscreen circle thing as an alternative to the home button. But now for some odd reason it won't turn on and is unresponsive when I charge it or connect it to iTunes on my laptop. Help?
