Cannot Open Keynote Document In Keynote 09

Hi There,

I use newest version of keynote on my iPad to create a presentation, but my presentation cannot open in keynote 09 for mac, which is os x 10.5.8 leopard.

It's said "Unable to open document xxx, because it isn't a valid keynote ."

How to open this document?

MacBook-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

While in the latest version of Keynote 6, export the file to Keynote 9.

File > Export To > Keynote 9.

Sorry Chris, I misread your question re created on your iPad.

You may need to email a copy of your Keynote presentation to yourself in PowerPoint format. Then open the PowerPoint file in Keynote 09 on the Mac.
