FFace Time does not work on iPad 3 after updating to 8.3. Tried resetting network settings, Face Time, rebooted. Rings, states 'connecting' and nothing happens. iMessage is working fine

If you're experiencing issues with making or receiving FaceTime calls on your iPad, I would first like you to sign out of FaceTime, and then sign back in. If the issue persists, then I'd like you to please follow the directions in the second article below.


  1. Go to Settings > FaceTime and turn off FaceTime.
  2. Restart your device.
  3. Turn iMessage and FaceTime back on.

If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support


If you can't make or receive FaceTime calls - Apple Support
