Is it possible to have dual monitoring with early '09 imacs?

I was wondering if i am able to connect two early '09 imacs together through the firewire 800 ports. Or does anyone have another way to create dual monitors, if possible on the early '09.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

What do you mean dual monitoring. You can connect the FW800 ports together but all that will accomplish is you can send files from one to the other or start one in FW Disk mode. An early 2009 iMac does not have Target Display mode capabilities, this began appearing in the later 2009 models. If you want two displays on a 2009 iMac then you need a stand alone external display and connect it with the appropriate adapter and you are in business.
