IPAD keeps uploading purchases to Itunes

I have made music purchases from the Itunes store over time on my IPAD. These songs were previously uploaded from the IPAD to Itunes and modifications for sorting etc have been made. Every so often when I sync my IPAD to my Pc, the IPAD will upload these purchased songs again in the original format which I would like to stop from occurring? I end up having to delete them from the Itunes library.

Any idea would be appreciated
