Size of photos for calendar
I Know drag and drop,
let the magic do its work.
But detail guys like details,
so does anyone know the real exact size
of photo space in calendars layouts?

Gee - that depends on a lot of undisclosed things including theme, layout, calendar size, OS version, iPhoto or photos version, etc
And even given those the best way to find out details is to do it yourself
In fact this is not at all clear
the real exact size
of photo space in calendars layouts?

control right click on photo gets you "Fit photo to frame"
that is part of the answer
one photo, thin at the top, is still "cropped"
so I guess that means
not 10 x 13
resize to more like 9.5 x 13
And yes like nearly all questions to the apple discussions
the op has to answer it themselves.
Deduct one for unhelpful answer.

Or alternatively ask a complete, intelligent question
You "answer" has no relation at all to your original question

i guess you knew the answer just not the question.
i was impressed / mystified at your point total
but looks like it has not grown much in the last 4 years.
Wonder why that could be?
You have a nice day.
Final answer.
You mostly do NOT need to know the size of the frame.
You can drag and drop and the photo will fill frame.
You can drag and drop and control click and choose to have the frame fit the photo.
In some cases, this may still result in a small top crop.
I just resized a photo to 9.75 x 13 not 10 x 13 and fit the frame to the photo,
the tippy top of the photo was included in calendar project.
Curious aside Sony camera photos set to 4:3 not all the exact same width,
all seemed to be same height.
That camera certainly has a mind of its own ; )
UPDATE:
ordered my calendar.
got it in a week or so
looks good
having the option to view calendar as a PDFs before sending is a big plus
photos printed not as glossy and slick as I thought they might be
but am very well satisfied
now can work on 2017 ; )
