How do you open a macbook pro without getting fingerprints on the screen?

I purchased a 13" MBPr with the haptic Touchpad a few weeks ago, and I can't open the darn thing without getting my fingerprints all over the screen. I guess I don't like having the screen extend all the way to the sides. I would rather have an aluminum bezel that I can put my fingers on, like on my old white MacBook. It seems like a major usability problem to me.

Also, I thought my haptic Touchpad was misfiring occasionally, but after searching around I decided I am also the victim of a creaking MBP.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), 13"
