Try to force quit the calendar app. Double tap the home button. You'll see the icons and previews of the apps. Scroll sideways if needed to bring the calendar app up on the screen. Flick it up and off the screen to close the app. Single tap the home button or on the home page preview to exit the mode.

then try your calendar again

I can close the app. It won't swipe sideways anymore to move to the next week. If I hit the month at the top, I can see the whole month but cannot pull up a day in that month to look at it. I can only look at the days for this week. CRAZY! I've turned off the ipad twice and completely reset and no change. I plugged it into Itunes this morning to sync and no change

I can still get my full calendar on my iphone. If that disappears, I'll lose my mind! Any other ideas? Thanks

I have no clue is this will work, it's just a thought. From Month View, tap the + sign to add a new event. Any fake event will do. Set the date for some time next week or the week after. Save the Event. Then tap on Week View and try swiping.

I tried it. It added the event, but I still can't get to the event in the week view at all. Still won't swipe. SO weird. Thanks for the idea--any others out there?

Two suggestions:

Switch to landscape mode & see if it works. If not, switch back & try Portrait again.

Instead of swiping in the body of the Calender, swipe sideways along the days/dates along the top.

THANKS so much. Still doesn' t work in landscape but at least it's working in portrait. Some kind of bug must have happened with the 8.3 update. You are brilliant, jazcan!
