No Battery Available

recently I figured my battery needed replacing because I received the X through the battery symbol

i replaced the battery from ifixit.com and installed it and no luck it stays the same


i've tried all the resets and everything and i've been running my laptop through the mag charger all the time


do i need to replace the fan or mag DC-board or something?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), iOS 7.0.2

Open the MBP and check the battery connection. Does the Magsafe LED turn amber in color? Try another charger if available.

Note that an error free AHT is not definitive.
