Q: arrangements tab not there??

So does this require me to have a new model of iMac, because I have the 2007 iMac 27" version. I'm not getting the "arrangements" tab in the displays section. Or do I have to plug the computer into the other monitor for the arrangements thing to come up?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

    I suspect you are referring to System Preferences - Displays....if so, if you have an external display plugged in AND  you are still using 10.6.8 then the arrangement feature is still there. If yours is not reset the SMC and PRAM and  then retest.
