When I have connected the iPod to a computer the color on iPod blinks red for a second and does nothing And the computer roesnt see that iPod is connected.

Then I need to charge it and wait when it will be more than 1% or if you say that battery can no longer hold a charge that means there's a problem with the battery?
Yes, it sounds like there is a problem with the battery. I would suggest plugging it into a wall outlet overnight and try to use the iPod in iTunes the next day.
