Q: security on iCloud

I love the ability to share across my Apple devices with iCloud; however, I find the security of the iCloud service lacking. I use Gmail and have their authenticator attached to my accounts. I also use single code services to log into other personal accounts. I am surprised Apple does not provide this as an attachment to their iCloud service. As someone who has been hacked, had her accounts hacked, and have heard of other security breaches; I am really amazed that Apple has not upped its security from questions to something like a single code that is provided whenever someone wants to use the iCloud service. I wonder what anyone else thinks of this issue.
