Discreet graphics card is not working

I have a new Macbook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014). I am not able to use the discreet Nvidia graphics card. It isn't an option. I have attached three images showing my system. It clearly is only showing my Intel Iris 3000 integrated card. I just completed a complete reinstall of Yosemite, but it still has not fixed it. Do I need service? I have tried to reset the PRAM but am at a loss for what to do.

Thanks,

Blake

Hi Blake,

Did you turn off Automatic graphics switching? If you have not, that will be in System Preferences > Energy Saver and that option should be right at the top. Once that is off, it will only use the discrete graphics processor. If it is not there, then you may have purchased one of the models that only has the Intel Iris Pro Graphics. Take a look at the link below as well as looking at your receipt from your order to verify.
