how do i reverse the order of moments in photos?

when I view 10 years of pictures in photos, I need to scroll to the bottom of thousands of pictures to see the new ones.

How can I reverse the order of moments so the newest are on the top? (and please, please, for the love of all things, do not give me some work around using albums. if it cannot be reversed, then just let me have the bad news.)

The really bad news is, there is not even a workaround with albums. 😢 Albums are either sorted manually or by date, ascending.

I set my System Preferences to always show the scroll bar. And to jump to the spot that is clicked, when clicking into the scroll bar. This way I can get with one click into the scrollbar to newest photos without having to scroll down.
