Apple ID issues.. HELP!!

Apple ID issues.. HELP!!

I have an iPhone 5C, I've had the device for a long time. All of a sudden one day it went to the activation screen, I know what my apple ID and iCloud accounts are. They use the same email. I have logged into the computer with my email on icloud and it works perfectly fine. So now back to the phone it comes up as.. " "This phone is currently linked to an Apple ID (g*****@e*****.com) Sign in with the apple ID that was used to set up this iPhone. So okay I have put in the email address and password and instead of it coming up as Incorrect apple ID it comes up with my email address and after it, it says cannot be used to unlock this iPhone. Its not telling me that the email address is incorrect like if you put a wrong email in its pops up in bold black letters Incorrect Apple ID or Password.. I do know my apple ID and everything with it is fine because I'm logged into it on the computer. I have tried to go through the Find my iPhone and delete the account that way but I never set up find my iphone so it wont locate the device to delete it off of it. I have tried to contact apple but they aren't really the greatest at helping. and I know there has only been the 1 email set up on this device and Its my email that its in the stars.

Anyone else has this issue?? PLEASE HELP ME!

This started before I even restored the phone. I just picked my phone up and it said I needed to activate it. I could tell all my stuff was on the phone still but it just wanted me to activate my iphone and took me to the one part where the email was and It wont take it so that's when I restored the phone and still nothing.

Not that I am calling you a lier. It does not seem likely that iPhone activation would pop up out of no where especially when your Apple ID won't clear the activation lock. Also activation lock only appears when Find My iPhone is turned on. Did you buy the iPhone second hand?

I knew that would come up. I do work at a cell phone company and have worked for one for over 5 years. I do know phones and trust me, I wouldn't post on here if I could just figure it out myself.. The phone is mine and always has been mine. I have seen this happen before, we have a lot of companies who work by the border and for some reason it does this to them. I have seen it probably about 15-20 times. But their apple ID'S work when we type them in. But I also never have had the message say it says cannot be used to unlock this iPhone. It comes up as the apple id or password is incorrect.

I know this may be a stupid question. Each Apple ID has 2 email address. 1 is the address you used to register the account and the other one is the iCloud address Apple assigned to you. You may try reseting your password via iforgot.apple.com.
