I have the Haptic Strength setting on High, but I frequently do not notice the haptic tapping on my wrist.
When changing the Haptic strength setting from Off to Low to High, the Watch emits a confirmation tap that I can barely feel.
Anyone else having issues with Haptics not being strong enough?

The tap isn't massive, but you should feel it - it might be worth calling Apple support to see if they are aware of any issues

I sometimes miss the tap as well. I know they are trying to tone it down since its right there on your wrist. But its odd that the default setting is a the highest setting. The default brightness is right in the middle where you would expect it to be. You probably know this already but there is a "prominent haptic" toggle that will make it stronger. Its still too weak to feel on a motorcycle, but I guess you can't blame them for that. Overall, I agree its too weak and we should be able to turn it higher.
It also depends on how snug the watch is. I think they did most of their testing with the sport band which is very comfortable even when snug. My stainless with black leather band is either too loose or too tight. I'm hoping out of blind luck the stainless link band fits perfectly because that's the one that I want (its just not available yet). I don't like either of the loop bands, but if you don't mind the style they are infinitely adjustable so you can get the perfect fit.
