how to restoring iMessages after new setup?

Hi folks,

I had to reinstall Yosemite. I saved all files and folders. It was necessary to install new, without Time-Machine Reinstallation.

After, I copied the folder "messages" from the Library back to the newly installed system. But, the old messages are not shown in iMessage.

How can I restore the old iMessages? They surely are saved in this folder. But, are there another folders? Do you know a way?
