Trackpad cursor for iMac is very jumpy.

I have noticed only recently, perhaps last week or so, that the cursor from my trackpad is very jumpy and jerky. It seems to happen approx 2 or 3 minutes after i start using the Trackpad but is fine at the start of use.

This relates to an iMac running Yosemite (since release) and I have had my trackpad for well over a year. All software is up to date. I have tried the usual reboots of the I Mac and battery changes within the pad. I have also cleaned the pad incase of any unseen grease deposits.

Hello Jason

many thanks for your response to my issue. I have looked at the link you suggested and will try a process of elimination with bluetooth devices around my iMac and trackpad as I have explored all the other avenues. I must admit that I have never had this issue before with the same amount of Apple devices nearby.

I installed Yosemite on it's release day last year and did not have any issues with the trackpad. It has only been the last couple of weeks the problem has started. Funnily enough, using the trackpad today I have not had any issues but intermittent problems are always the worst to resolve.

thanks again and if I locate the problem I shall post for other's to view.
