Q: Sync error: Some of the items in the iTunes library, including "[name of song]", were not copied to the iPod "[name of iPod]" because they could not be found.

When trying to sync my iPod Touch (5th Generation) with my computer (Windows 7), the following message is displayed:

Some of the items in the iTunes library, including "[name of song]", were not copied to the iPod "[name of iPod]" because they could not be found.

For a list of items that could not be copied, click the + below.

100 total problems.

I've searched this support site and this problem appears to be common. The following article has been suggested:

"If you see an exclamation point next to content in iTunes"

It says you need to find the missing songs manually. This is not helpful to me as iTunes has "found" the so-called missing files...

I am able to play the songs in my iTunes library on my laptop without any issues and there is no "!" next to the listed songs in my library. The files just don't get copied to my iPod when syncing and it is really aggravating.

Can someone please help? I feel like I'm at my wit's end.

Thanks in advance!
