Q: New Macbook usb pd charger

Hi

The new Macbook can be charged by the third party adapters that follow USB-PD specification. But does it charge using the same power rating (29W) or reduced power when third party adapters are used? Thanks

I would never use any third party charger on any Apple notebook.  There are too many counterfeits on the market and it is like playing Russian roulette with them.

If you value your Apple notebook, use the genuine Apple charger.

    Ciao.

    Dear

Can you let me know how much power new Macbook (with USB-C) can provide power out?

Can I connect my pico projector to the USB-C port  for sourcing power? As I know, my pico projector comsumes power of 5V/3A.

    Tks.
