What's the equivalent to "snap to beat"?

In iMovie '11, there was a super function called "Snap to beat." You could put a sound track in, listen to it, click when you wanted a photo transition, drop photos in, and automatically, it would produce transitions timed to the beat of the music.

The latest iMovie (which is version 10x, making it really hard to search on the net for help with it vs the old) doesn't have that function. And the whole function has been so completely airbrushed from iMovie history that when you search on help, it doesn't know what you're talking about.

So: what is the way in the current version to create something like this from the old version? Is there?

And Apple, seriously; it's bad enough when you deprecate software, by removing functionality. It adds insult to injury when you don't even explain where it went or what one can do to replace it.

Snap to beat does not exist in imovie 10 but there are markers which can be added to mark where you want to add your clips and can be added while the music is playing. There is a video about this at: http://macmost.com/using-imovie-markers.html

I should add that we are just users like yourself and you are not communicating with Apple. For that use Apple feedback, see; https://www.apple.com/feedback/

I did gave feedbacks to them.

Yes, iMovie now can not do snap to beat ( tried too)

It still upsetting me (hard to let go), consider i love that function; cause couple of months after i know that function, i get a new latest iMac (5k) but iMovie cannot do that in my new computer.

as a user; Apple move is not make sense for me. it's look like they stealing my money. Not a good teacher consider they are making hardware including the software too. How they move like that. Still don't get, what is in their mind.
