5w or 12 w charger for iPhone 6

I have a collection of apple chargers. Some small 5watt USB chargers and some 12watt larger chargers. Which one goes with which device? We have several iPads old and new and an iPhone 5c and iPhone 6+. Will it hurt the device if I use the wrong charger?

iPad Air, iOS 8.1.2

iPads come with 10 or 12 W: Using iPad power adapters with your iPhone, iPad, and iPod - Apple Support

You can safely use a higher wattage (i.e., you can use an iPad charger with an iPhone).
