Hi joshoswalt541987,

Thanks for participating in the Apple Support Communities.

It looks like the iBooks app closes unexpectedly when you open a book on your iPhone 6. Restarting your device and the app were good troubleshooting steps to try, and I know it's frustrating to have unexpected issues continue.

Do you see this behavior with all of the books in the iBooks app? If it only affects some books, try deleting and downloading them again.

These articles give more detailed instructions on deleting and downloading past purchases:

Delete music, movies, podcasts, and other content from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch - Apple Support

Download past purchases from iTunes in the Cloud - Apple Support

You can make sure the book will be available to download again before deleting it, as mentioned in the above article:

See if the content is available for redownload. Previously purchased items might not be available if they're no longer on the iTunes Store. Also, make sure that you’re in a country where iTunes in the Cloud is available. If you changed your
Apple ID from one country to another, you can’t download items you purchased in a previous country.

It's also a good idea to have a current back up before deleting any content from your device:

Best Regards,

Jeremy
