Q: When I try to backup my Iphone 6 to the computer, it says it can't because the phone disconnected.  I've tried 3 different cables.

I've tried 3 different cables, but still can't backup my Iphone 6 (ios 8.1.2) to my computer.  It keeps saying that the phone is disconnected.

    Hey there MaryAnnN,

     

    It sounds like you are getting a message that your iPhone is disconnecting from iTunes even though you have tested with 3 different USB cables. That's probably where I would have started as well, and next I would recommend the troubleshooting from the following article for additional assistance:
