I am trying to set up Apple Pay on my watch but the app on my iPhone keeps saying it can't connect to my watch. They are side by side, iCloud is turned on for both, and neither are in airplane mode. Any ideas?

Reset your watch: Hold down both buttons, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons.
Are you using an iPhone 6 or 6+? I don't think it works w/ a 5.
It should work with an iPhone 5 or later.
Have you established a passcode for your Apple Watch? Have you set Settings > General > Write Detection = "On" in the Apple Watch app?
These two settings are certainly prerequisites for using Apple Pay. They may also be prerequisite for setting up Apple Pay on an Apple Watch.
