Please give us some sort of context. Where are you seeing the reference to them? Why do you feel you need their "services"?
I was in the middle of a power point presentation, my computer locked up and on the screen appeared that there was a security breach and to contact Kain Technologies for assistance. I did so and they informed my that my computer had been hacked and to take steps to clean up and block from any future hackings.
Ouch. You have been scammed. Did you allow them access to your computer? If so, consider it compromised and take steps to restore it from a backup that predates the access by the scammers. If you provided financial information, consider the account compromised and contact your bank for instructions on how to deal with the fraud.

I was afraid of that. Fortunately, they asked for payment by check, which we have not sent. Now, you have been extremely helpful, and I thank you so much. One more thing, how do I take the steps to restore it from a backup that predates the access by the scammers?
Boot your Mac while holding the Command + R keys. This will boot to the Recovery partition. Choose Time Machine. You'll then be asked to select a backup, at which point you can choose one from a point before they accessed your system.
You will also want to check into changing all your passwords - just to be safe. And, to be sure, I would recommend you erase the hard drive before restoring from an older Time Machine backup. This would be advisable if you allowed them remote access to your Mac - no one knows what they might have installed while they had access.

Sorry to hear about your travails.
I am a bit confused about how an important Dog & Pony Show could get interrupted by an intrusion such as this. At showtime, one usually kills all unnecessary Apps and services - I would only have PowerPoint running the show and an Internet connection if assets in it were linked rather than embedded (what if your connection went South? - the show must go on!)
Don't feel you need to respond if you are busy saving your you-know-what.
Too answer your titular question - sorta - did they have a South Asian accent? >> https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/kaintechnologies.com = India

Could you please explain what exactly you did after?
I fell for this and sent them an email confirming that I will send them a check, but i realized that it was a fraud now.
Hi. Did they ever contact you again after you didnt mail them yhe cheque?
Did they ever contact you after not sending the check? Did you ever send a check? I was getting their phone calls for like two weeks before I finally answered and called back and let them work. They were so convincing!!! if you see this please email me **********@gmail.com

Well I called them out on the scam before we hung up and the guy said he wasn't going to charge me right away but was going to send an email with the invoice and gave me the address in Vegas to send a check to (Kain Technologies LLC 1350 E. Flamingo Rd. #577 Las Vegas, Nevada 89119). What i want to know is if I when i get that email if I don't send a check what will happen?

They'll probably just cuss you out because you didn't (completely) fall for their scam.
I suggest that you file a complaint against this company with the FTC here.
