It may help to remove and readd the affected account on your iPhone. If you're still unable to connect to the desired account, the article linked below details a number of additional troubleshooting steps.
- Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Tap the affected email account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Add your account again.

May 13, 2015 7:03 AM in response to Duckie82by UrbanPhotoGirl,I have the exact same issue. I find I am still able to send and receive, often if I pull down the refresh, but I still get the annoying popup. I see this on my iPad and iPhone 6. IOS 8.3, latest patches.
I experience this on WIFI and 3/4G, and have tried a restore. As an aside, I have a maybe related issue where my internet connectivity drops when going from Wifi to cellular. I have to enable and disable flight mode to fix that.
Anyone else seeing this?
