When in Live mode of CBSN, if you want to leave it, you can't. It traps you.
The only method of escaping it is to pull the plug!
How do we let CBS now about this issue? It did not happen when it first came out. So some update broke it.
Problem does not happen with other live apps.

No way to do anything!
Only can pull the plug for restart.
Clearly, an issue with the app after last update.
But no way to contact CBS or, whoever they contracted with.
Mostly I just wanted to get the word out.
It has problems. Apple needs to contact CBS and kick them into action.
Im having the same issue. Need to unplug Apple TV. I tried completely resetting the device still same issue.
I also have this issue just as described. Once the CBSN live stream starts there is no way to stop it ( other than the plug). After a few second the audio stream continues but the video remains black. Once in this audio only mode nothing works. The apple TV does still recognize the remote buttons are being puushed as the front white led blinks with buttons are pushed but all I get is CBSN audio.
I still get audio from CBSN but nothing else.
Yes, just the audio, locked in.
It was a bug that CBSN fixed or Apple fixed. No longer a problem. I did nothing.
