Q: nothing helps ejecting cd from macbook pro

nothing helps ejecting cd from macbook pro.  Tried all items found on apple to no avail.

Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

    Have you tried all of these options?

    Also orient the Macbook Pro so that gravity is you friend.

     

    If no success, make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar.  They will have the disk out in 5 minutes or less.

    I tried all suggestions I found and the only one that worked was to slide a small piece of cardboard into the CD slot and move around and then tried the utility terminal and drutil eject and it finally worked after 3 hours of trying everything could find.
